Hi. I am seeking a scholarly response to claims that the Dead Sea Scrolls are forgeries. I am including links to “reputable” sources about the forgeries below.
Thanks and God’s blessings to you,

I recommend looking into Wesley Huff’s work directly. You can find more on his website and his YouTube channel that may be able to answer your questions.

Amy,
Unfortunately Wes really biffed an opportunity to demonstrate true scholarship (the EVERY WORD claim) – and launched into completely counter-factual evangelical apologist – which does no good for anyone and certainly does not honor the Lord of Glory.
He did provide the briefest bare apology on a basic level of knowledge that anyone taking this position should easily have known.
Joe Rogan completely bit – and again this does no good for anyone.
As to Billy Carson.. just “WHY” – why waste time and give him the least credibility. Carson is – as gentle as I can be – a complete clown but really a huckster who will do well on the very sad “History Channel”. He is NOT remotely a scholar – despite whatever pretense – so the idea of “a Christian scholar” besting a complete clown… well…
Oh well…
I hope we can step to a vastly higher level of apologetics if we are to do so in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
Thank-you,
Greg
I am disappointed that my comment was not published.
Wes made a serious blunder in his interview with Joe Rogan – he sort of acknowledged it – but not sufficiently. THAT should be known if we are to maintain any integrity in Christ.
I expect more integrity from this site than what I experienced by my comment simply identifying the issue that other scholars and informed lay-persons such as myself are already familiar.
