Resumo
Talking about politics is hard enough, but throw kids into the mix and it can feel like navigating a mine field. That’s why we here at Mama Bear want to take a few minutes to help empower parents with a few tips on how to share their political beliefs in front of their children. In this podcast, Jennifer and Amy encourage parents not to let tempers flare when analyzing the views of their political opponents. Instead, parents are challenged to exercise self control while ROARing through the policies coming across the debate platform, recognize and unpack buzz words, vote for policies not personalities, and much more!
Parents will feel challenged and emboldened to help their children think critically, love biblically, and stand firm in the faith while exercising their right to vote.

MBA,
In light of politicization of the name of Jesus Christ, this has become a significant issue for those that profess His name.
The critical first step is correctly understanding that America is NOT the Kingdom of God – and that Jesus does NOT want to be King of America (Jn6.15, 18.36) – He has His own Kingdom – and THAT is what we belong to and THAT should be our focus (Phil3.20,21).
The next step is to recognize that character IS important – when a candidate has a life of lying, adultery, theft, fraud, racism, arrogant boasting, hate-mongering, fear-mongering and now violence – and worse, the shilling of the name of Jesus for his own personal power and self aggrandizement, we know that we are dealing with a leopard that cannot change his spots.
We ask ourselves – can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit?? NO! Jesus taught us way better than that – in fact we are called to DESPISE such a vile, reprobate (Ps1, 4) – NOT support and enable such a one because we think that we can gain political capital to fulfill our own earthly lusts – as so many who now focus on fighting against flesh and blood rather than principalities and powers.
When we have to justify every sort of evil with such a worldly covers as “I am voting for a president not a pastor”, we know we have been deceived – and departed from the Word of God and the call of Jesus Christ.
If they have these basic principals – they should easily be able to figure out the rest.
